Caribbean Town is not just a residential complex, it is a gateway for aspiring Aruban homeowners to surpass one more effort in favor of a bold statement to grow, Caribbean Town is the solution for the housing challenges in Aruba.
As our population continues to grow and our environment rightfully expresses its demands to those who listen, our responsibility lies in challenging our standard of living. By incorporating a minimalistic approach that refuses to sacrifice the finer things in life, the design integrates our local traditions and customs in a sustainable way and breaking the barrier to allow for a modern vertical footprint.
Downsizing has never felt more natural once our needs became the focal point. With this notion in mind, Caribbean Town Aruba becomes the first local, green, healthy and well-organized residential community built for today, tomorrow and for a lifetime.
Natural and organic, Sustainable, Safe, Flexible, Private, Friendly Community, Wellness, Healthy, Economic.
Designers of the buildings in Caribbean Town considered of importance to include the following criteria for the designing of the community, buildings and dwelling-units:
Together, these elements form part of our exclusive and unique Yambo Building®, vertical communities’ design criteria.
These design criteria were inspired by the capsulated nutritive tropical fruit okra, also known in Aruba as Yambo. Yambo is an elongated green fruit, its seeds are found in the locules and are divided by sections or levels around a central axis that defines the length of the fruit. This simple but functional configuration is covered by the skim and septa between the locules and the peel, which create an isolation protection for the seeds.
Our architects used the same organic configuration to design our vertical communities. A unique structure forms the insolation and protection of the comfortable dwelling-units around the vertical circulation cores that represent the central axis of the Yambo and the building.
